About Us

Our Mission

#It is the mission of Echo House to provide human services to families and individuals in Southwest Baltimore to assist them in becoming self-sufficient, and thereby improving their quality of life. The purpose of Echo House is to encourage all people who live and work in the community to help each another. We provide coordinated human services that contribute to the physical, mental, social, and economic well-being of the individuals and families.

Who We Are

Echo House Multi-Service Center is a non-profit, multi-disciplinary social service agency. Echo House provides human services to empower youth, adolescents, adults, and seniors living in Baltimore City and the surrounding metropolitan area to reach their optimum level of physical, economic, behavioral, emotional, social, and spiritual well-being. In order to accomplish this vision, Echo House provides substance abuse treatment and prevention services and ancillary services that support the recovery of our clients and their families.

Our State Certified Outpatient Drug Treatment Program is designed to promote physiological, psychological, and psychosocial transformations. The clinical services are structured to incorporate a philosophical framework of the most effective means of counseling and treating substance abusers, which begins with a cognitive behavioral treatment approach and progresses towards an abstinence-based Chronic Disease Concept.

Our mission is to reduce the harm that substance abusers perpetrate in the community through the negative actions that often result: crime, broken family ties, and an inability to make positive contributions to the community. Our goal is to provide structured support services that facilitate the process of becoming substance-free, family-oriented, and productive.
